Career Evaluation

If you don't know what you want to do, don't use the "trial and error" method.

Most people spend more time planning a vacation than planning their careers...remember, successful people do what non-successful people don't.

We aren't clairvoyant and we don't have crystal balls, but we do have the tools of our trade as professional career coaches. Our tests, measurement and assessments do take time and money, but the investment is small compared to confusion, job hopping, frustration, stress, unhappiness and settling for a job instead of the job. This knowledge gives you confidence and the materials that support it are substantiating documents.

Discover where you have the greatest potential for success and focus your energy on a career area suited to you.

The benefit of your investment is priceless!

The tests, measurements and assessments determine the 4 major factors of importance for your career happiness and success. We will match your abilities, interests, values and interpersonal strengths with an ideal career direction. Career evaluation reports include curriculum suggestions, descriptions of job responsibilities, anticipated future demand for specific occupations, projections for the next four years and recommendations for activities that enhance marketable skills. After adding your personal criteria into the process, you'll be ready to have your personal marketing materials developed and begin your job search campaigns.

Try our Career Evaluations!

The Career Evaluation is our centerpiece for helping you develop your career strategy. It provides information about your interests and aptitudes among 14 occupational clusters. Your Interests, Abilities, and work Values are measured, suggesting occupations and fields that suit your personal interests, and equally important, an indication of your "ideal" working environment. Armed with this information, you'll have a deeper understanding of how your untapped potential may be employed.

Interests    Career Occupational Preference Survey (COPS)

This assessment measures the degree to which you like or dislike individual activities. The information produces the occupational fields that you most desire. Interest ensures personal desire, longevity and performance.

Abilities    Career Ability Placement Survey (CAPS)

"CAPS" measures eight specific areas of Ability. Results determine relative strengths and weaknesses you possess. Results often help select areas that need to be improved or strengthened in order to achieve your career goals.

Values    Career Orientation Placement and Evaluation Survey (COPES)

This assessment measures those personal Values that you seek in your life. Values reflect your work habits, team skills, and personal requirements in the workplace. Theoretical foundations of the Values domain are refined through a contemporary factor analytic technique and scored in terms of the COPSystemTM career clusters. Values help detect job satisfaction based on what you consider worthwhile. This is an area that is paramount to long-term job satisfaction. It is the least likely to change.

A Communication Style Analysis will be included in the evaluation. Follow the link below for details on how this fascinating report can help you understand yourself and your co-workers!
