The Career Evaluation is our centerpiece for helping you develop your career strategy. It provides information about your interests and aptitudes among 14 occupational clusters. Your Interests, Abilities, and work Values are measured, suggesting occupations and fields that suit your personal interests, and equally important, an indication of your "ideal" working environment. Armed with this information, you'll have a deeper understanding of how your untapped potential may be employed.
Interests Career Occupational Preference Survey (COPS)
This assessment measures the degree to which you like or dislike individual activities. The information produces the occupational fields that you most desire. Interest ensures personal desire, longevity and performance.
Abilities Career Ability Placement Survey (CAPS)
"CAPS" measures eight specific areas of Ability. Results determine relative strengths and weaknesses you possess. Results often help select areas that need to be improved or strengthened in order to achieve your career goals.
Values Career Orientation Placement and Evaluation Survey (COPES)
This assessment measures those personal Values that you seek in your life. Values reflect your work habits, team skills, and personal requirements in the workplace. Theoretical foundations of the Values domain are refined through a contemporary factor analytic technique and scored in terms of the COPSystemTM career clusters. Values help detect job satisfaction based on what you consider worthwhile. This is an area that is paramount to long-term job satisfaction. It is the least likely to change.
